The Sophie pillow cover is the ideal accent to layer on sofas, beds, and chairs. This unique fabric features an artisanal block-printed cotton fabric. It is made of a light weight cotton textile, is lined with a cotton duck fabric and is backed in a lovely neutral linen. This fabric features a black background and dark beige floral design, handcrafted by artists in India. The texture of the fabric is smooth and soft.

This select fabric is block-printed using natural dyes. Meticulously hand-carved wooden blocks are carefully pressed into a dye pad and then onto the fabric, in a slow and deliberate manner requiring skill and patience. This stunning pillow cover will add a delightful element of artistry to any room.

Please note that with all block-printed fabrics there may be variations in color and block stamp placement. This is to be expected and is what adds to the character and beauty of each unique pillow cover.

Absolutely beautiful

I'm very particular on decor and I searched everywhere for pillows that aligned with my vision. The Sophie | Black Floral Block-Printed Cotton Pillow Cover was the only one that fit what I wanted. When I tried to add 2 to my cart, it said they only had 1 available. I emailed customer services and Chris responded and said he would personally sew a second one for me. I had no idea they were hand made! I was also blown away with the customer service.

When the pillow cases arrived they were perfect. The material is lovely - these particular cases have a soft linen feel which is perfect to pair with my linen bed ensemble. Not only is the material high quality, but the actual design is timeless (in my opinion.) I'm so happy with my purchase.

I stumbled on this company by a Pinterest post. I wouldn't have known about them otherwise, but i'll absolutely recommend them to friends.
